Caravan met with the entire bass section to draw up the parameters of the needs and wants of the nine players. The consensus was the following:

Interchangeable interiors as players retire or move on. (no bases were remotely close in dimension)

A height adjustable padded strap system.
Space for bows.

The lid of case would have an area for a tux.
Compartments for shoes, rosin, and personnel items.

Case had to be white fiberglass to protect it from the elements and heat at outdoor events.

The photos show the outcome of the process. After a couple tours and numerous run-outs the players are very satisfied with the results.
